Middle States Commission on Higher Education Reaccreditation Preparation

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) accredits degree-granting colleges and universities in the Middle States region: Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and several locations internationally. This is the Commission that will consider USUHS for institutional reaccreditation in 2013.

The Commission is a voluntary, non-governmental, membership association that defines, maintains, and promotes educational excellence across institutions with diverse missions, student populations, and resources. It examines each institution as a whole, rather than specific programs within institutions. For more information about MSCHE, visit www.msche.org.

USUHS was first accredited by MSCHE in 1984. The university is currently preparing the required self study report due prior to the site review in 2013. This website has been designed to keep the university's community up-to-date on the self study and accreditation process.
