Biobehavioral Health Research Interest Group

The Biobehavioral Health Research Interest Group is a collaborative interdisciplinary tri-service community of professionals with an interest in exploring the biological, behavioral, social/cultural, and environmental factors that influence the mental health and well-being of military service members and their families.

The group's purpose is to conduct biological, psychological, and social research that will expand the breadth and depth of knowledge upon which military behavioral health protocols and expert practices in biobehavioral health are based; influence Department of Defense policy and program development; and maximize the mental, physical, and social health and well being of military service members and their families.

The team sees their mission as fostering leadership, empowerment, and advancement of biobehavioral health science. Please consider joining our group by completing our needs assessment and submitting an Intent to Serve form.
