Dr. James A. Zimble
The funeral for Dr. James A. Zimble, the fourth President of the Uniformed Services University and former Navy Surgeon General, will be held February 16, 2012, at 9:00 a.m. at the Fort Myer Old Post Chapel followed by graveside honors in Arlington National Cemetery.
It is estimated that the entire service will take two hours. Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early. A reception will follow the service, however details are not yet finalized so additional information will be forthcoming.
At 3:00 p.m., a Memorial Service for Dr. Zimble will be held at the University in the Sanford Auditorium, Building B. The service is expected to last approximately one hour and the Zimble family plans to be in attendance.
