Welcome to MDL Scheduler- Multiple/Recurring Room Requests

Welcome to the Multiple/Recurring Room Requests section of the MDL Scheduler. This part of the application will allow you to enter both multiple room requests and recurring room requests in one screen. There are a few things you need to know before you get started. To utilize this system you must run and enable the Advertised Program "Oracle JInitiator". To perform this task, do the following:

RUN/INSTALL

  1. 1. Click Start
  2. 2. Click Control Panel (You may need to select 'Settings' first)
  3. 3. Double-click 'Run Advertised Programs'
  4. 4. Search for 'JInitiator 1.3.1.22'
  5. 5. If found, double-click the advertised file and follow the set-up instructions on the screen.

If not found, contact Danielle Scott at 295-3219 or call the Help Desk at 295-9800 immediately.

ENABLING THE ORACLE JINITIATOR (Internet Explorer)

  1. 1. Open your browser
  2. 2. Click Tools
  3. 3. Click Internet Options
  4. 4. Click the Programs Tab
  5. 5. Click Manage Add-ons
  6. 6. From drop down list, select 'Downloaded ActiveX Controls (32-bit)
  7. 7. Click on JInitiator 1.3.1.22
  8. 8. In the Settings box, click Enable
  9. 9. Click OK twice.
  10. 10. Close your browser
