USU Is Moving to Google Apps!
We are pleased to announce that USU has chosen Google Apps for its new email and calendar platform. Our IT team has been working on the migration and is looking forward to moving employees from Group Wise and Exchange (AFRRI End Users) to the new services in the coming weeks.
The Helpdesk provides customer support and technical services to USU from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The helpdesk uses the USU Service Desk system to track requests. By putting in a request for service through the Service Desk system, you ensure your request is tracked and worked on in the timeliest manner. You can also check the status of USU applications on the lower right side of the Service Desk system home page.
Support requests can be submitted to the Helpdesk online, email, telephone and walk-in. When submitting a service request, a ticket is logged into the database and immediately routed to the appropriate technical group for processing.

DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORDS TO YOUR ACCOUNTS TO ANYONE! It is prohibited to give out your password for any Department of Defense computer systems. When discussing new accounts, a temporary password is always issued, and the user will be required to change it immediately. If someone should call and ask for your password, ask who they are, where they work and a number they are calling from, then notify the Helpdesk immediately. Passwords are your responsibility to keep secret and secured.

The Helpdesk is a branch of the Customer Support division, OCIO. The Helpdesk provides front-end IT support for the University. Our mission is to provide professional IT services to Faculty Staff and Students here at USU.
