ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION- GRADUATE SCHOOL OF NURSING
The Dean of the Graduate School of Nursing:
- Oversees Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree programs for graduate nursing students that meet the standards of accrediting bodies and the needs of the uniformed services;
- Manages the School with the purpose of furthering the School's academic goals, the needs of the uniformed services, and the welfare of the students, faculty, and staff: leads the School's faculty, and;
- Maintains an environment that insures and promotes the academic and personal welfare for the School's students, faculty, and staff.
The Dean of the Graduate School of Nursing reports to the President of the University.
The following report to the Dean of the Graduate School of Nursing:
The Graduate School of Nursing Associate Dean, the Executive Assistant to the Dean, and the Commandant, Graduate School of Nursing through the Brigade Commander.
Associate Dean
The Associate Dean (Office symbol ADN) is responsible for the oversight of committee activities involving selection of qualified applicants for educational programs, the development, implementation and evaluation of curricula to assure that academic standards are met, the establishment of research, investigation, and development programs to assure academic excellence. The Associate Dean must possess a doctoral degree in nursing, or a relevant field, and hold a current RN license. The Associate Dean reports to the Dean, GSN. In the absence of the Dean, the associate dean assumes all responsibilities of that position.

Chairs of the Departments of Nurse Anesthesia, Nurse Practitioners, and Nursing Research.
