Clinical Research: Injury Prevention Research Lab: Lab Info

The Injury Prevention Research Lab is located in Building 59 on the north side of the NNMC/USUHS campus near the Satellite Pharmacy.

From South Wood Rd. (Gate 2), turn right onto Palmer Rd. South. Turn left just after the medical center, between the medical center and the visitor’s parking garage. At the "T", turn right onto Taylor Rd. Continue straight through the intersection and follow until parking lot E. Turn right into Lot E. The Injury Prevention Research Lab is on the right.

From the NEX Gate (Gate 3), follow Palmer Rd. East straight through two stop signs. At the "T", turn right onto Taylor Rd. Follow until parking lot E. Turn right into Lot E. The Injury Prevention Research Lab is on the right.

Building 59 houses the Injury Prevention Research Lab and the dive training tank.









The IPRL is an asset to the Family Medicine Department at USUHS.









IPRL equipment is portable and has been used at the US Military and US Naval Academies.








The Flock Room contains the Flock of Birds Motion Monitor Machine, both short range and extended range transmitters, along with a running platform, Bertec force plates, and strength testing table.









Force plates are strategically located at the end of a running platform for use in numerous research protocols.









The Motion Monitor collects and stores biomechanical and force plate data.









The IPRL office is available for use by lab personnel and guest researchers.
