Dr. Goodie is a board certified clinical health psychologist and has a secondary appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Medical and Clinical Psychology department. He is currently assigned to USUHS from the Office of At Risk, Behavioral Health and Community Resilience, Assistant Secretary of Preparedness and Response at Health and Human Services. Before joining the U. S. Public Health Service he served 9 years in the U.S. Air Force. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Dickinson College and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from West Virginia University. He completed his residency and a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical health psychology at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB. Dr. Goodie's clinical, teaching, and research interests are focused on behavioral health interventions in primary care settings, disaster behavioral health, and community resilience.
