Campus Access

Did You Know

Did You Know: A School of Medicine students takes the Oath of Office at the USU Commencement. School of Medicine students are required to commission into the Army, Navy, Air Force or Public Health Service prior to matriculating into the University. All students hold the service equivalent rank of an 0-1 throughout all four years of medical school. At the Commencement ceremony students once again take the Oath of Office, administered by the Surgeon General of their service, and are immediately promoted to the rank of an O-3.
