Welcome to the 2012 Commencement
The Uniformed Services University will celebrate its 33nd Commencement on Armed Services Day, May 19, 2012. The ceremony will include military and academic protocols -- a proud tradition handed down from the university's earliest days.
During the ceremony, deans from each of USU's schools will confer both master's and doctoral degrees to more than 200 students. This convocation will mark the culmination of years of study and preparation for the members of the graduating class of 2012.
Did You Know
The Uniformed Services University charter class of 1980 comprised just 29 members. Although these pathfinders were the first to graduate from the nation's only federal university of the health sciences, they paved the road for thousands to follow. Today, nearly 6,000 physicians, nurses and scientists are USU alumni.
