Seeking Volunteers for Online Study Addressing Menopause and Sexuality
What are some of the issues that affect sexuality during menopause? African American and Caucasian women are needed for a study addressing questions about menopause. Participation requires completing an online or paper survey that should take about 60 minutes to complete. Some volunteers who live in the Washington, DC metropolitan area may also be eligible to participate in a substudy that involves a small blood draw. Participants in the blood draw substudy may be compensated.

Eating Behavior Research study
Eating behavior among teens can potentially lead to obesity. Immediate research to address obesity levels among teenage girls is needed. Uniformed Services University Center for Health Disparities (USUCHD) Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology is conducting the study. The study will test how effective group programs are in the prevention of excess weight gain. The purpose is to decrease obesity levels among teenage girls through a clinical study, in effort to decrease obesity among teenage girls. Dr. Marian Tanofsky-Kraff is the Principle Investigator for the study.
