NEWS - New Faculty Biosketches (Spring 2008)

spacerBeginning in the fall of 2007, the department began a new faculty search* with the goal of identifying candidates that would build upon current strengths in the department. Two excellent candidates were selected, Drs. Shuishu Wang and and Rachael Cox.

spacerDr. Wang is a crystallographer whose research will focus on potential drug targets encoded in the genome of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Read more about Dr. Wang's research. Dr. Cox's research will focus on genetic and biological aspects of mitochondrial dynamics during Drosophila development. Read more about Dr. Cox's research.
